This place might get stupider after baseball losses than after football losses...if you can imagine that.

People just don't understand the game of baseball. Period. You go through spells when everything falls....you go through spells when everything goes in the other team's glove. Earlier in the year, Bregman's blast stays fair...Ross' bleeder hits the chalk...McMullen's ball hits grass instead of hitting the glove of a diving outfielder, etc. shite HAPPENS. This team is no more or less focused than it was 2 weeks ago. It is just in a funk and luckily enough, they are plenty good enough to play through it. I would have been more discouraged today if we had struck out 13 times and hit a bunch of slow grounders.

That is all. If the fools on this board want to be...well..foolish....then let them be. I am glad at least a few of us actually understand baseball and are not in panic mode.


If Kyle Peterson isn't panicking, then I am not panicking. That dude knows more college baseball than one man should.
