For three potential top 15 picks all in the 20s in Floyd, Rhodes, and Patterson.

First two picks were great. Especially getting Floyd, I was hoping that's why the Falcons traded up.
But a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and I think they also gave up a 7th for Patterson?

The first two picks were excellent. Floyd was thought to be a top 5 pick. Trading the house to get Patterson....maybe not that great.

Came from a small town, and was a bit of a hothead (probably still is) and got in trouble with the law early on in his Texas career. Recently, he had a kid and it seems like he's matured quite a bit because of that. He's a fiery competitor and will bring the wood on anyone. But I wouldn't expect him to get into any trouble nowadays.

I don't think I'll ever understand judging a draft immediately after based on what all the "experts" thought about a guy. If NFL teams thought Floyd was as good as the experts had him, he would have gone earlier. He might turn out to be a great player, but only time will tell. Some of these reactions would be similar to someone saying whoever gets Geno Smith tonight got an absolute steal because a lot of experts had him going high. He could turn out to be shite, and that would be why nobody drafted him in the first.

Patterson and Greg Jennings if healthy could be a very dangerous combo.
I wanted the texans to get Patterson bad I think he was the best wide receiver in the the draft.

Just wanted to share some info. I personally don't give a shite about players off the field behavior. That includes Mathieu and Ogletree.
Every team has their players who are role models for the community (like Breesus), and every team has thugs who make the highlight hits. Just let them do enough to stay out of jail so they can make plays.
