Also probably why he aimed for the torso..you can make the argument that with a AR15 you have a more accurate and steady aim to hit your target than with a handgun, resulting in a less chance to miss and hit the wall.

After doing some reading I think I changed my mind.

It just didn't seem like a good idea, but I guess it's really not that bad.
