Do they have to completely break down the engines piece by piece after every race for inspections? I realize the crew probably does that as a regular part of their duties to keep the car in tip top shape, but it seems like it would be alot of crap to go through to weigh a piston rod.

I believe the engine for every winning car and the engine of another random non-winning car is taken by NASCAR and dissected piece by piece after every race.

Its like the NASCAR piss test.
