I've got 2 (and yes I am aware that both are probably silly):

Barrett M82:

Desert Eagle .50AE:

Replace your #2 with a 500 S&W and we are talking.

These are the guns I plan to buy next. Not all of them are all that practical.

1. henry us survival ar-7 (with 3 magazines)

2. kel-tec sub-2000 (w/ glock 17 magazines)

3. S&W Governor (no crimson trace)

4. Ruger Gunsite Scout (Cat. # KM77-GS, Mod. #6822, Stainless Steel, Matte Stainless, Right-Handed)

5. S&W Model 617 (4” barrel)

6. Sig Sauer p229 Scorpion

7. Kahr P380 (black) or CW380

8. SIG 1911 SCORPION, 5", 45ACP, FLAT DARK EARTH, NIGHT SIGHTS
or
S&W SW1911SC
or
Kimber 1911 super carry pro

9. Saiga 12

As far as ridiculousness, I'd love a Steyr Aug , Kriss Vector Carbine, IWI tavor, and a FN PS90.

Not wanting to carry by any means. My XDs would get too jealous. Just want one to sling lead with. I don't care for wheel guns at all, cept the S&W 500

I wonder why. I rarely shoot my .44mag or .454 Casull.

Yeah, I thought a .44 mag was a bitch to shoot but this one blows it away, and ammo is pretty damn expensive.

It's pretty hefty as well.

Realistically, I can see one of these in my future. Just because I love them so much and have never even shot one before. However, I would take a 50 bmg for free first. Especially if it came with free ammo.

My .44mag has little recoil and is easy to shoot but it's huge, heavy, expensive, and I only have it for hogs. I've shot a .50 pistol and it was traumatizing.

It is. I imagine accuracy is shitty simply because of the anticipation of what's coming.

Y'all probably could've predicted this first one... (I'll probably own both of these in the future though. They're just expensive.)

Coonan 357

Barrett REC7 (in 6.8 SPC most likely)

Does nothing for me. It's above and beyond the price/quality return equation for me. However, it's not like the 50 Bmg that I picked was anymore reasonable.

I just guess that if ima go big, ima go big.

Yeah, that's how I ended up with this .50 cal paperweight...

Figured if a .44 mag would do damage to a bear, how much more the .50 would do...

.44 mag standard load produces about 900 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle. S$W .500 with a hefty load produces around 2600.
