If the Celtics are ready to move on, I'm pretty sure you could get Rondo for a package of the 1st pick, Rivers and maybe Lopez. I'd rather Bledsoe but it'd be a nice pick-up. Just not much they can do afterwards..

A high 1st and Rivers for Rondo would be tolerable, though I have character concerns about him. With his pouting, I don't see him handling a move from the Celtics to the Pelicans well.


Adding Lopez to that is not a good idea unless we've found a starting center elsewhere, as Davis won't be able to do it and Smith isn't cut out for that role full-time.
