I wanted to hear what some people's opinions are of some of the golf courses in the Memphis area. I am currently a member at Spring Creek Ranch under my father's name, but I am looking for a place where me and a couple of my friends can go play occasionally.

Mirimichi
Will devour balls though.
Southwinds is obviously nice but private.

Glen Eagle on the Navy base in Millington is nice...greens are incredibly difficult

I need to play Mirimichi. I was planning on playing it a couple years ago, but I remember them having a lot of flooding issues.

Mirimichi
There are a handful of very nice private courses, but you won't be playing those. Mirimichi is the tops, and it's public.

The short course at Mirimichi will make you feel like a pro.
And unlimited free range balls with a round.
Used to go play 9 holes on the short course for $20 and stay an extra couple hours on the range.

We used to play Stonebridge for cheap way back in the day definitely made me feel like a pro.
Have any of y'all ever been down to the Olive Branch Country Club, supposed to pretty nice and cheap.

It's ok... It's not as great as olive branchers would like. I have a friend that raves about plantation... It's nice but it doesn't drain well.
