I don't know why I keep watching. They bail themselves out of any plot development with anyone and everyone being in the cult. Things that are happening would NEVER happen.

I can't even put into words my frustration

Such a great idea that just falls very short

I quit this a while ago. The bad guys don't have any rules. If they need somebody on their side, they have them on their side. It's impossible to predict ever turn, but you never find yourself surprised.

It appears that The Following is...

Leaving you behind.

Exactly. I have never been so frustrated with a show in my entire life.

Is it bad that I felt like they were wrapping this up and making it a one season show? Just about everyone is dead. Where do they go from here?

They really jumped the shark with the prison escape pretty early on. It was a good oppurtunity for something clever, but nope. Nothing. Really this show is only good to watch for making fun of it.

I should have went with my gut on this show. Great pilot but just went off the rails so quick. The Bacon is the only saving grace for me.

Is this ever going to get cancelled? Because there is a certain show on a certain premium channel with an upcoming role that Purefoy would absolutely kill.

I hope so. They kind of need to put it out of it's misery.

I gave up around episode 5. I love when this show comes up as a topic of conversation with friends because I can tell everyone how much it sucks arse

this show could break a world record for number of shark jumping moments

Every plot turn and character is a shark jumping moment

I stopped watching after episode 3 but my parents still watch so i catch a few minutes at some point usually, and everytime i just start laughing my arse off

Like the beginning of a recent episode, the younger cop overhears some dude talking about being in the cult over the phone, so he draws his gun but then just lets the guy walk away without shooting him in the leg or anything, so of course the other security guards unknowly tackle the guy chasing the cult guy and watch the dude just walk out the FBI office and the dude gets away

Okay, why would you not stop both guys when you know anyone could be in this ridiculous cult. An why isnt the FBI headquarters on fricking lockdown?? Dude just walks out the building with no problem after getting chased

It is more frustrating than Hero's by a long shot, IMO

They just bail themselves out of any plot development. They must get half way into writing a scene and instead of saying, "that won't work" they say "LET'S JUST MAKE THEM PART OF THE CULT AND EVERYONE GETS AWAY!"

There are 3 good guys and they also threw in the head FBI guy who also, of course, get's in the way.

you know I was really pumped for this show until about episode #3. I then continued to sit through until about episode 5 before I gave up. this show has all the cool elements and actors there, but is trying WAY too hard.

***SPOILER ALERT***

I caught about 10 minutes of a recent episode not long ago while at a friends house (after missing probably 3 or 4 in between after giving up) and watched the gay/not gay? guy kill the other one with the pillow to end that episode only to later find out it was a dream? that is what I mean by "trying way too hard". that type of writing works very well at times, but this show is relying on the shock factor bullshite way too much. it got old fast for me.

This show should have only been a ten episode season.

Then just follow other cases Bacon works on in 6 to 10 episode seasons to continue it.

shite, have two seasons a year doing that instead of dragging this out. Oh and kill off Emma.

this would be about the only thing that would make me tune in again.

I know they are really trying hard to push her down our throats as the big female star of the show, but she is awful and annoying.... and not in a good, keep me entertained and on the edge of my seat kind of way that they are obviously trying to go for. oh and it doesn't help that she is ugly as shite.
