renting a keg of beer?

What price I could be looking at?

Need a keg of bud light and a tap for an event.

A keg of Bud Light will run you maybe around $60. (I dunno, I buy a keg of Abita amber about once or twice a year and that's around $90.) Albertson's has the prices on display at some of their stores.
Where they get you is the deposit for the keg. That's about $200. You get it back once you return the keg, but it's a drag to put down.

I think you just rent the keg and tap. They dont normally ask you to return the beer.

Last time I got a keg in BR it was not too bad for the deposit. Hard part is finding a tap. When ever I went they were either out of taps or had a crappy plastic party tap. Not sure if it is the same now but surprisingly Coors kegs required no deposit.

I've lucked up the past couple of times I bought kegs in that I didn't have to put down a deposit. (First time, my wife complained to a manager after Albertson's dicked up my order. Second time, I went to a liquor store where a friend of mine works.)

I've never had trouble getting a pump for the keg.

Bud Light will run closer to $75-$85 depending on store. Deposit is min $100 and will be anouther deposit for equipment rental

we are not in 2004 anymore. BL will be around 80-90 50-75$ deposit.
