Nola.com article

quote:

Both players had strong performances in the game with Martin scoring 20 points while shooting 9-of-11 from the field, including going 2-of-2 from 3-point range, while Mickey had eight points, nine rebounds, four blocks and two steals.

Gandolfo said Mickey's block was still being talked about long after all of the prospects headed home.

"That (block) was just crazy," he said. "That got one of the biggest reactions from the crowd. He really looks good. He probably had the best defensive instincts of anyone in the game."

I been praying for a weakside shot blocker since tyrus left and my prayer's were answered with 2 in one class. Mickey is just an amazing player and i haven't seen much film on odo but you can't average 4 blocks a game and not be a good weakside defender.
