Went there for dinner. Ordered 3 pizzas for my wife, daughter and myself. They bring the pizzas and mine ends up on the floor. I ordered two draft canebrake while there. Should they have at least taken one off the bill? Not trying to go all treblehook here, but at $5 a draft it would have been a nice gesture. What are your thoughts?

I always find it hard to try and equal out when there is a mistake.

Yeah, you would expect something for the trouble. Usually someone is embarrassed or just trying to keep the situation from getting worse so they hurry your order through to make it up. Would be surprised if the manager didnt know what happened, comping something seems in order, but at the same time you never know what happened behind the scenes and sometimes every situation can't e handled perfectly.

Accidents happen. Sure, a free beer would be nice but as long as they were apologetic I wouldn't expect much. Stuff like that happens.

I had something similar happen (kitchen went to shite and they had me waiting forever) to me at Chili's not too long ago when I picked up food there and they ended up cutting the price in half. It was nice but unnecessary.

Why do we always expect to be comped for something? A simple "I'm sorry. I'll get on making another right now." isn't enough?

Everyone is looking for a freebie.
