Says he's a little short to play guard or tackle plus being short and stubby helps against 3-4 nose tackles that are built like tree stumps.
He's a legitimate 6'4". Not hardly short and stubby. And he's only 16 yrs old. He will be about 6'6" once he's finished growing (which is my height). And if they use him as a center, then so be it. But, it won't be because he's too short to play guard or tackle! Some of the listed heights and weights on various sites are not updated often and are from some time ago. As of today he's 6'4" 285 lbs.

I'm amazed how "analysts" figure what position a kid may play based on size. Center is more about feet than anything else, so if Garrett winds up there, it won't be because if his size. You grab the best football players you can find and you turn em loose. Too often it's over thought out. Give me 77 in short yardage and I'm winning 90% of them, regardless what position he's playing.

For the record, that isn't my quote. Just clearing that up.

Anyone have any information about Voorhies? Is he still being looked at as a WR?
