I, for one, am glad the ACC will survive. They have been a conference for so long, it would be a shame for UNC and Virginia to end up one place, Clemson, NC State and Duke elsewhere.
I think this temporarily halts expansion among the Big 5 conferences (for at least 5 years). The next move will be the Pac 12 trying to raid the Big 12 to get to 14 or 16, like it all started last time.

The biggest loser in all of this? Probably the Big 12.
The SEC and Big 10 wanted to expand to become even more profitable... the Big 12 wanted to expand because they lack a major market outside of Texas
