Really?

That shite was cracking me up. Are you a Rangers fan? Because if you are, he prevented a highlight catch from the Gutierrez.

The rule is that as long as the fan is on his side of the fence, it's fair game.

Sorry that someone is upset that Seattle is trying to contend with Houston and the Angels for the AL West cellar while the Rangers play well above their talent level at this point in the season.

I am a Rangers fan and it isn't that catch in general. He's an 18-year old dude running on the grass to be the first to catch a homerun ball in a sea of younger kids and he immediately tosses any opponent homerun back out there when a younger kid would love it that he has a homerun ball, regardless of who hit it. Leave bringing a glove to the game for the kids and players

I know that you're "supposed to" throw the ball back for an opposing homerun, but for a younger kid, that would make their day to have a homerun ball.

That would've been an awesome catch by Gutierrez. If only he could stay healthy. Probably the best defensive center fielder in the game when he is.

The Astros have no talent...they are once again a glorified triple A team trying to compete with the big boys

I didn't see a "sea of younger kids" but are there usually a bunch of kids around him when he catches it?

Can't please everyone, let the kid do what he wants if he isn't breaking any rules.

Kind of feel bad for Gui, but thats some funny shite. IMO, that kind of stuff is why I love baseball, currently and historically.

That catch was fricking awesome...I laughed my dick off, and my wife even chuckled when she saw it. The only thing missing was some Moises Alou-level butthurt by Gutierrez after he realized he was robbed.

Sorry but if you are over 12 years old and don't have kids, you should not be bringing a glove to a baseball game. Its pathetic.

Ehh yea it's kind of gay, but when you are sitting right there and he has these kinds of opportunities it's not the same as some guy in the upper deck hoping to catch one. Kid is 18, I don't care if he wants to have some fun like this.
