Yes, and they are covered for 365 days, buying ONE license a YEAR. Christ, if you fish for 20 straight years, you cant spend more than 300 bucks without overlapping licenses for a freshwater resident license. No matter the expiration

again, that one that you bought on the back half prevents if from happening again the next year. Unless you just didn't fish last year....since June. But this situation will happen no matter what if you don't buy licenses often.
