2014: Rivers vs. Jennings - Annual QB Controversy

Let's start prepping up and get this out of the way early. Who's side are you taking? Who should be the starting QB next year?
QB Controversy Rules (we all know them):
1. You can't like both
2. You have to irrationally defend one and attack the other
3. One has to be the runner and the other a passer
4. One is dumber and the other is smarter
5. One has to throw off back foot: decide wisely
6. One can't read a defense and audibles poorly
7. One is athletic and the other is slow
8. One is a coach favorite and the other lives in the dog house
9. One is a leader and great teammate, the other is selfish
10. Race must play a factor and you must deny this
REMEMBER: this is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Choose wisely.
I'm gonna arbitrarily go with Rivers at this point

How about we let 2013 unfold first. If rivers is truly passed on the depth chart by Jennings (I'm not sure that he is) and sees zero PT then I don't think we are having this discussion about next year bc Rivers is playing for some other school close to home.

rivers has improved from last year..and jennings is starting out great as a true freshmen...it will be an interesting battle for the starting job next season.

Jennings is certainly ahead of him, but I wouldn't read too much into his play based on yesterday, he had a hodgepodge of 3rd stringers and walk-ons going against the 1's. The defense probably didn't think Michael Davis was too much of a threat to run.

He certainly played like a freshman, while Jennings played very very well.
Wouldn't be surprised if Jennings is the 2nd string QB in the fall.

Jennings looks like a star in the making...
He can crush defenses by pulling it down and running....something Nick saban's big fat defensive lines can not handle...aka A$M's Qb...
