HUGE difference between this years team vs. last year

Last year LSU was solid on defense, had pitching that pretty much equals this year....BUT we can bail out a bad pitching performance with the bats this year. This may be the difference in beating Stony Broke's arse in the Super this year on our way to making a run at the title in Omaha.

Pitching was slightly better last year but the bats and fielding are so much better this year.
