There is a store in the Slidell mall called Just 4 Play that has a good selection. I saw Nintendo, she's, jaguar, 3do, as well as current consoles. The game selection wasn't huge but if you are looking for consoles and accessories it isn't a bad spot to take a look .

There is also Gameware in BR, Play N Trade in various cities (Lafayette, Opelousas and I think BR at least), and Game Over inside Anime and Games in Lafayette.

I'll have to check that out.

Game Ware and Play N Trade is WAAAAY over priced. Its almost insulting.

I thought the prices were pretty fair. I had my fingers crossed I would come across earthbound or something like that. Figured most of you don't make it out to the dirty dell and thought I would pass it on.
