Why can't people just accept the premise of a movie and enjoy it from there.
You know what else is a stupid premise? fricking Russia invading the midwest during the cold war without anyone being able to figure out these planes flying into our airspace and dropping off commies, only to be fended off by a handful of high school kids. Red Dawn is still good though.

Even if i accept that stupid arse premise, it still is choosing to make a movie on the least interesting aspect of that premise
Thats like making Red Dawn under the same premise of Russia invading....but making it a story from Frances point of view
