Of course next week they play LSU midweek.
What college baseball program utilizes bye weekends? outside of Rice and maybe Stanford.
I guess Tulane plans to throw their ace with LSU coming off SEC weekend.

Not likely if they have a conference foe to face a couple of days later.

Tulane normally doesnt utilize a bye week. The reason they didnt make the tourney last year was because they played some crappy team on their off week from conference. So this year they decided to just skip the week instead of playing another crappy team.

The ACC works a bye week in for all of its teams to take a break from the murderer's row that is Duke, Wake Forest, BC, etc. It looks like everyone but UVA picked up an OOC series. UNC has 2 games vs James Madison.

I think Tulane is more concerned that they make their conference tourny than if they can beat LSU.

I was coming here to clear up some things in this thread, but darryljames covered it.

Randy Leblanc will probably start for Tulane on Wednesday. He's had a couple good outings in a row. I'd guess he'll be around 88-91, he was a baseball America top 100 prospect not long ago. After him, you could see Andrew Reeves, he is finally back from an injury. He started on Fridays at times last year.
