Miss ya Levon!
The only time I got to see him was in 2009 at Red Rocks with John Prine...one of the best shows I've seen!

He was the greatest. Not because of speed and technical ability (I'm not saying he was lacking here by any means) but with his ability to direct the song and he could put more emotion into a set of drums than anybody I have ever heard. Hit timing and that soulful quality of his voice.
Makes me hope that there is some sort of afterlife where we get the chance to see the greats as they were in their glory days.

This man is a genius. I did a speech in one of my public speaking classes on him. It was definitely the most fun I've ever had researching something. I couldn't believe that was him in the movie Shooter.
