No way GSW makes a deal like that. After the year they had, I don't see them going backwards. No way they're giving up BOTH Thompson and Barnes. Most likely, the only guy they're considering to move is Thompson and that is going to tough considering that they really value him.

That's why I said the Pelicans need the Warriors to make the 2nd round without much contribution from them. If they get that far without them then that probably means Jack and Landry played well. They can't afford to keep Jack and Landry next season with Curry's raise.
Now that I think about it I was wrong in my last post, I think taking both expirings is an essential part of the deal. The Warriors get to replace Thompson and Barnes with Gordon and say Shabazz while getting the cap space to keep Jack and Landry. I think Golden State would be all over that deal if they thought Gordon was worth the risk. Without a deal like that they will take a step backwards because they'll lose Jack and Landry.
