Pseudonymous is the proper term for it. I have used it many times when discussing bitcoins. I may have also used terminology like "mostly anonymous" or "potentially anonymous" all to describe the same concept. However, pseudonymous is the proper terminology.

There are significant fundamental differences. But if you wish to think of them like that, feel free to do so.


It still amazes me how so many of y'all who do not understand the technology, and therefore can't appreciate the revolutionary implications of it, can dismiss it so easily.
