LSU baseball record book watching.......

LSU has had an excellent baseball program for the past 15 to 20 years - no disputing that. During my college days in early 80's at LSU the baseball team was average (at best). This may be Germans but with such an outstanding start in 2013 what are the chances that they set an all-time win and percentage record? I'll let you record checking gurus enlighten me and the rest of the rant on the past history of the very best Tiger baseball. Thanks in advance. Geaux Tigers!

If we can get to 50 wins, it will be the 11th time we have done so which would give us a 7 season lead over second place in the SEC

I believe the most regular season wins we've had is in 1986 when we went 47-9.

Excellent! Well within reach. There's been some talk about how "special" this current team is and to have the potential to be the best of the best this late in the season is pretty amazing. Appreciate the "goggling" Mr. Rabbit.

I agree. I think we definitely get to 50.
35 wins now.
15 more SEC games. 11-4 (I think we will sweep at least 1)
3- OOC mid week 3-0
That puts us at 49-7 plus SEC tourney & post season

I think we lose 1 to USCe, ole miss an Florida. Sweep the rest an OOC so that would put us at 50 rite ?
