SGU was a cast of forgetable character minus the main British scientist guy.
I thought it was a dumb idea to make the Allution(sp) alliance a main antagonist, been there done that.
UnManned drones is your big space battle episode....really????
Nothing happened ever. It tried to be BSG and failed. I saw every episode, it was like an emotionless, humorless version of Gilligan's Island adrift in space.
Oh, and the rape stones were the dumbest idea ever and probably the main reason the show failed because anytime the show built any kind of momentum they would have a rape stone episode and totally kill it.

The alliance plot really sucked the life out if the show, as if it had much life.
they already had the damn coup plot, finally get it semi resolved then we get almost the exact same plot with the alliance.

Damn you. I'd almost blocked SGU from my memory, but this thread brought it back with a vengeance.
Very loyal supporter of the franchise, but I hated this show. Maybe someday MGM can get its shite together, bring back the franchise back to the small screen and wash the bad taste of SGU away. Very wishful thinking, but they did recently put out SG1 Unleashed giving me (likely false) hope of a Stargate tv rebirth.
