My guy is set up as a dominant pitch. I haven't been in a rush to build up anything else besides my pitches, because I'm not getting hammered on anything.

I have given up 1 HR. Average less than a hit an inning and strike out 5-6 per game with only 2 walks so far.

I'm going to build stamina soon, but I'm usually good going 6-7. I have one complete game shut out, but I was going on 0 energy the last two innings.

Update on my pitcher.

-Drafted by Rangers.

-Starting pitcher for AA team. Got bumped to AAA in less than a month coming out of the pen. Spent a few weeks coming out the bullpen and then headed to the starting rotation.

- Starting pitcher for USA/World futures game. Went 2 scoreless, giving up one hit. Came in relief for the AAA All-Star game.

- Got traded to the Reds (didn't ask for a trade) about 2 weeks after the all-star break and went into their AAA starting rotation. Made 2 starts and then got moved up to the majors.

- Have my fastball velocity, movement and control all maxed out at 99. Curveball is also nearly all maxed at 99. Some work on my changeup is coming next.

- I am the highest rated reliever (except for the closer) on the Reds roster. Kind of sucks coming in for relief in the NL because I get an inning or two max and then get pulled whenever I come up to bat. I am getting smashed around pretty good though. 2-0 record, but my ERA is horrible. I'm going to have to start putting a lot of work into my K/0, H/9 and HR/9 to be able to hack it. Reds don't have the best rotation though, so I'm hoping to crack the rotation by year 2. I'm in a battle for the division with the Cards and have a nice lead for a WC spot with 1 1/2 months to go. Kind of sucks that I can contribute so little to winning the games right now though.
