Simple solution. Move the SEC offices to an actual major metro city like Atlanta. When jobs are open you will get people applying for jobs that aren't either born raised in Birmingham and/or went to Alabama or moved there from Tuscaloosa or whatever. As long as the SEC offices are in Birmingham you will have a conference that favors one team.

I think there are three things the SEC should consider. You have 4 of 14 teams dictating the rivalry game. One you end the rivalry game. It seems like the obvious choice, less schools upset. Two (not sure if possible, seems stupid over four schools being a pain in the arse) drop one non-conference game and add another SEC matchup. There are too big of gaps when it comes to seeing SEC teams at your home field when keeping the rivalry game. Last choice and this is just to hurt the stubborn. Let the keep their rivalry game and let the other teams drop theirs. Eventually Tennessee will be good again and the same goes for Auburn. When that happens you will probably hear Alabama and Georgia fans asking to drop the rivalry. Again that is a dumb option but not fair that 10 of 14 schools get to see certain SEC schools at home because of four schools throwing a fit.
