The main turnoff to me is how they toned down the sandbox aspect by not allowing local saves any more.

I can stomach the BS multiplayer aspect that's really just DRM because it does add a twist to the game.

I just want to have an offline local variant that I can play around with or even destroy and not worry because I'll just roll back to an earlier save.

THe Price was never the issue. It was the fact that it was a game that DIDNT work and purposely left out a ton of stuff just to charge you for it later.

Sucks but it worked for the Sims.

Over and over again.

it's worth 30 dollars if you are looking for a distraction. I broke a couple of weeks back and put in more then my share of hours with it. It's fun, but it's limited fun.

Really the only thing that pisses me off is the city size...I can deal with the other issues.

The game looks good...If only they made the maps bigger and had more reliable servers, it wouldn't have been so bad. But alas, spending 20x as much on marketing as you do on developing is not usually a formula for success.
