I really dont give a shat about drones watching me any more than I care about greenjeans watching me... I mean, I cant say that I have never done anything wrong in respect to harvesting game/fish but all in all....I try to walk the line. If I choose not to walk the line and then happened to get caught, I know the price and I knew the risk. I dont care the greenjeans is on foot, 4 wheeler, truck, boat, or drone.

If I did wrong then it was a decision I made and a risk I took.

no doubt, you do wrong and you get caught, you pay the consequences but it's still a little weird to think one of those seagulls flying around is Mr. Green Jeans

Gotta make sure the GF doesnt find out about this.... no more boat secks

I bet a lot of money that drones don't start peeking into South La duck blinds.

Mounts at the camp will look a lot different if they do, drone on driftwood.

People are going stupid about this drone issue. Really what the hell is the difference if a guy with a camera or a robot (being guided by a guy) with a camera takes a picture of somebody doing something illegal?

Why does it matter than the pilot of a drone is 100 miles away when he shoots a missile into a bunker compared to a heli pilot doing the same thing?

Because it is an unwarranted search, which would be considered illegal according to the Constitution of the United States.

Would you OK if they did away with officers writing speeding tickets and instead they installed speed cameras all all streets which wrote tickets for those infractions?

It is an invasion of privacy. It was also sworn up and down that drones would not be used to spy on domestic issues. Plans have changed over the past 5 years or so, and I'd imagine they do it all of the time now.

Doesn't even matter anymore what you say in a car accident. Your vehicle has a black box now that records everything

DRONES should not be inconspicuous. Similar to rules that apply to police when radaring traffic. They cannot do it from a hidden position.

I think drones are an invasion of privacy and a violation of private property rights.

If you are viewing from public land but your target is on private land...thats an invasion of privacy IMO

I dont like it, but I dont see how the USSC would say they're unconstitutional bc theres really no difference if the police are patrolling the waters by air.

I dont have a problem with it as long as it is made aware that they are in use...

Dont get me wrong, if all of a sudden I just received 50 speeding tickets for going 1mph over the speed limit without even knowing WTF it was all about, then I would be pissed. But if was made clear that the speeding cameras were being installed and that there would be a zero tolerance on the speeding laws....then it is what it is I guess. I am all about citizen rights but to me it gets real gray when the citizen is doing something that is known to be in violation.

The Dry Tortugas is a marine sanctuary and I assume some or all of it may be off limits to fishing, although the article said the one boat didn't have an access permit, so some of it may be accessible to fishing. I can understand trying to keep people from fishing there, however it is a slippery slope. There is plenty of places to fish in the keys without going there.

A few things:

1. This was on a federal reserve. You go on federal property, be prepared to be watched. Different circumstances than if you were on your own property.

B. I also think this falls under the "don't do nothing, won't be nothing" area. Don't break the law and you won't get caught.

III. That being said, it is a very slippery slope.

So, I am ok with them watching people on federal/public lands. I get a little more worried when they start spying on private property.
