NOLA does need to do a better job supporting the team. I'll be moving to town this summer and will do my part starting next season. Winning definitely helps, but it was interesting to see that winning didn't always result in a huge bump in attendance.

Hopefully the re-brand will help the franchise with a fresh start. And I wonder if Benson can do some cross-promotion between the Saints and Pels?

you know I have wondered the same thing. I know that this idea would likely never happen, but I think that if Benson offered a Saints perk for those who sign up for season tickets with the Pelicans then we could likely see a really good boost.

Now I'm talking something good. something along the lines of for anyone who purchases season tickets with the Pelicans then they are automatically boosted into the top, lets say 25-50% (depending on the amount of money spent) of those on the waiting list for Saints season tickets as well.

It would be a great way to reward the best of sports fans in the area and would also boost the Pelicans numbers. Purchase season tickets with the Pelicans and automatically get pushed to the front of the line for Saints tickets.
