My buddy has a 270 like that. No idea when the damn thing is gonna shoot(I like to be able to tell). I think his is pulling lower than 1lb. I shoot 6" groups at 100yds with that thing, and even when my 30-06 was set at like 7lbs, I'd get 1" groups at 250yds
2lbs is as low as I wanna go, and I have mine at 2.5 right now. No idea what my 30-30 is set at because it shot perfectly out of the box. Same with my black powder gun
