This concerns me, if we draft him I truly hope he has changed

According to Jarrett Bell of USA Today, NFL teams have been asking Mathieu how many drug tests he failed in college and the number is staggering. “I quit counting at 10,” Mathieu answered. “I really don’t know.”

Surprised he lasted that long at LSU with that many fails. Look, no doubt the dude deserves a chance to come back. He seems to be trying to be open and honest about his troubles. But, I don't know if I'd like the Saints to take that risk. No matter where he goes (maybe except for Atlanta), I hope he has a great and trouble free career.

Who the frick cares how many tests it was? It makes no difference if he was tested every week, every day, every hour or whatever the frick. We all know he was smoking during his tenure at LSU. You skimmed and didn't acknowledge the part about being clean 6-7 months. You're looking for a reason to get all anti tyrann. frick off. Tyrann is a beast.

But, I don't know if I'd like the Saints to take that risk.

A guy failed to do something 10 times that his coaches clearly told him not to do. He failed something 10 times that he knew might get him kicked off of the team. And now you want to stick him back in New Orleans where all he's going to do is get back in trouble again? No.

FWIW I would still pick him.

I have never said anything about Tyrann Mathieu that wasn't true and 6-7 months is not a very long time if that is even true

Yes. The answer is 100% yes.

Why would he? There were never any consequences except missing a meaningless game. I think he understands what happens now, and while I appreciate his honesty, a little misrepresentation of fact might have been in order here

Yeah, except for the part where he got kicked off of the team. I'm sure they told him if he doesn't stop he's gone, but then he kept on anyway.

I didn't say you did nit wit but you're perspective is full of bias and agenda.

it's long enough for me. i mean holy fricking christ, Tyrann would have been better off had he raped a paraplegic and got off OJ style.
