I just saw this. This concerns me. I could give a shite about TM7's draft stock, I am worried about how this reflects on LSU.

At some point LSU needs to stand up and help Mathieu. It was clear that he had a problem and they allowed him to play and smoke away his collegiate career. They put football before helping the younger man and that is completely unacceptable.

t’s easy to see why Mathieu left LSU to get better.

In the NFL, Mathieu will receive the support and help that he never got at LSU. Hopefully he will be able to stay on the right path and have a successful career.

What an idiot who wrote this. LSU did things to try and help Mathieu. I won't say it here due to privacy issues but this guy needs to get all his facts together.

Not sure if I completely believe this, this site also has that Tony Romo retired and Jerry Jones is stepping down. Cam Newton traded to Arizona Cardinals??? Not sure this is accurate...or maybe i should watch Sports Center??

Sounds like he's working towards an Obama cabinet position with writing like that.

This can be smeared two ways:

1 - LSU looked past the failed drug tests when they were in the mix of a national title race in 2011, then in the offseason after some new additions, he was expendable and thus dismissed

2 - LSU tried to help him with his problem and did so as long as they could but there had to be a line crossed and at some point LSU did all they could do to help him, but enough was enough

That's probably as high as he could count after smoking that much

The only thing this says about LSU is how highly valued a player he was to actually get this many chances.

It's not LSU's responsibility to wipe this kids behind, tuck him in bed or control his drug problem.

It is a privaledge to play D1 football and if you don't realize that, then go the route of the Honey Badger because in the end,

HE REALLY DIDNT GIVE A shite.
