If Eric Gordon plays well enough to raise his trade value significantly next year, you don't trade him. You don't trade him now because the value you'll get back isn't worth the potential value he brings to the team.

Put simply, in roulette, would you rather put 50$ on the number 10 or $20 on red (yswidt?)? It's always the former unless you're super hard up for money (cap space), which we aren't.

Seriously? Who the hell puts $50 on a single number? You would take 1/34 odds over 1/2 odds? I play colors and the thirds all the time. There is no harm in it.

Why can't you trade him then? So once his value is high, you can't move him. That makes no sense. Using your logic, you can never move him. We are just stuck then..
