I also love LOST so maybe that's why questions unanswered don't bother me so much

Lost is by far my favorite tv show and I liked prometheus (though lost is far superior). I wonder where people in this thread fall:

A. Like both
B. hate both
C. Only like lost
D. Only like prometheus

I bet most would answer a or b.

I hate Prometheus because it really shite on its origin and really couldn't decide what questions it wanted to ask and answer (mostly because the narrative was hamstrung by trying to appear as a prequel).

I love to hate Lost. It was ambitious, fun, interesting, clever, crazy, unrealistic, etc.

But it was not some transcendent show that was awesome. It was merely very good and also couldn't decide what it wanted to be (Hello Damon!) It was vapid and left open far too many important plot points. It was a lot of fun for an experience though, as frustrating as it was.

LOST is mine also, I just have a feeling when everything is said and done with the future Prometheus movies that people may look back and realize it wasn't as bad as they once thought.

Also Charlize was thrown in there for star power but I also did like the is she a robot or isn't she angle they were playing. She called Weyland father (obviously too old to be her father) as did David. You had the scene where she offered to bang Elba but it never showed it, and then you had the scene where she over powered David against a wall. Alien universe androids are strong as frick.
