I actually like that starting 5. If we want to push the ball up tempo & play Johnny Jones ball, I think the 3 guard lineup would suit us best. Plus you have 3 veterans on the floor.

Let Quarterman take over the point & then have 2 "2" guards in Hickey & Stringer. Then you can rotate two deep in the frontcourt with Mickey/Odoh

I don't see Mickey at the 5 very much. Martin has a better body for that. Mickey is a 4/3 guy IMO.

We have depth FINALLY. And 3 new guys that can play above the rim and length in the guard positions.

I honestly can see Quarterman being the sleeper in this and taking over a lot of minutes by years end. He can really create and has great size for a PG.

My best guess

100% confidence in starting are:
Hickey
JOB

Besides that I have 75% confidence:
Stringer

And then about 60% confidence:
Martin
Odo

30% confidence:
Mickey
Morgan

Coach Jones has been working with Odo since January and has full control of his off season workouts. Odo knows what he needs to do for LSU and I think he gets the post spot opposite JOB.

That makes me feel like the most obvious starting lineup is:

Hickey
Stringer
Martin
JOB
Odo

I still like Mickey at the 3 and Martin at 4 backing up JOB, but we will want to have our best players on the court. It may depend on who's talent best fits into the system Jones is trying to run.

It's also very possible for Morgan to start at the 3 spot.
