If we're gonna win any of the next 9, ummm...we might oughta win at least one of the next 3.

I can't wait to see what record we break tonight.

bump for big news....Chris Carter struck out. 2K's in the first inning for a pitcher with a career K/9 of 5.1

Doing what he does best.

Im thinking I could strikeout Chris Carter. He'd be expecting a ML caliber fastball. Thus, he'd make a fool of himself swinging at my slowball.

Someone check the Help Board to make sure Klark Kent isn't stomping his feet with his arms crossed over there.

Yup the Astros are definitely the most popular MLB team on the board.

....notice all the Cubs fans missing around these parts these days too.
If LSU were a perennial 3-8 team, think the Rant would be busy as it is....?
I don't think so, Tim.

ohh, but there would be. Have you ever witnessed a full meltdown after a loss on the Rant. Good times if you sit back and enjoy it instead of becoming emotionally involved.
My only point is, yall create a year long Astro's thread. Where predictions and such can be saved for the entire year, not just get lost amongst thousands of other MSB posts due to being daily threads. All the other MLB teams on the MSB have year long threads.

Interesting. Because I see a 4/9 Cubs thread and 4/9 ATL thread as well as a 4/8 ATL thread on the first page. I await your arrival in those threads bitching about how unnecessary they are. For someone who doesn't care about the astros, yet again we find you posting inside an astros thread. Come out of the closet friend.

Not at all. There's a lot free space on the bandwagon.

You think uncle drayton watches the games anymore or just counts his dollars and laughs and the mess he left?

i could never pull for the DisAstros with a 70% Hispanic fanbase and year in and year out miserable performance.
plus if they start winning, my scheme of seeing other quality baseball teams at Minute Maid would be ruined. So nice to pay $7 for a ticket, drink for cheap outside the stadium for 3 innings, then take a seat on the 1st or 3rd baseline with the Astros down 5-7 runs. Because all the "fans" have left.
besides i find MLB baseball incredibly boring. I go to hang out with friends, drink, and people watch.
