I am on batch 5 and I still have sediment in my bottles. I have tried not letting the siphon hose all the way down the carboy. I have tried straining with cheese cloth. Any ideas. TIA.

You're always going to have it unless you get a filter.
Its mostly just yeast. It means your beer is living, breathing, and developing.
Eta: you could do a cold break. This will force most of the yeast and sediment to drop. Put you carbon in the fridge for a few days before bottling. This will not be 100% effective but it will help alot.

Do you use transfer from a primary to secondary and cold condition prior to bottling?
Only other idea is filter and force carbonate.

I do go from primary to secondary but have not tried cold condition. Can you do this with an ale also ( sorry if stupid ???). I just feel like it is negatively affecting the taste.

Yes. You do it after you have reached FG.
