sadly, i've lived away from louisiana for too many years and don't know all the rules. can i just go to a baseball game and buy tickets out front? like in football. i've never been to the new box and really want to go.

you can buy SRO tickets and sit wherever there are gaps.

Or stand there before the game and secure you seat from a private seller. Very easy to do and plentiful

It is not permitted in a certain area. The ticket takers will ask you to move away ...but its no big deal. You move 10 ft over and you're golden. Plenty of deals are going down all over the place

I walked up at 6:40 yesterday for the game and bought a SRO ticket for 10 bucks. It was around the 5th inning where I walked down and sat one section over from the Golden Seats.
