Why is game blacked out on direct tv?

Game is blacked out and isn't on any other channel? I just bought the sport package to watch the game

Is the LSU contract with Cox Sports to blame? You gotta love teaming with a company that restricts access to your product to so much of the population. People with Directv or Dish outside the BR/NO area or in areas that dont offer Cox are always screwed.

Game is blacked out for my dad too and he is in Georgia. I don't think it's just Louisiana.
