Picked up some tickets to see them in May. OCMS is opening... who I've been following for years. Curious how they are live.

never seen the Avett Brothers live but have seen OCMS twice and boy do they put on a hell of show

i was about 2 feet away from the stage at the river center when they played there last year. i've seen them a pair of times now. awesome show, great energy. they will play a good bit from their albums emotionalism, i and love and you, and the carpenter, if you want to get familiar with their music before the show.

I saw them last year at wakarusa. From what I remember they were good but they weren't one of the highlights of the weekend. I'd definitely see them again though. Especially with OCMS they put on one helluva show

Yeah, I've seen OCMS several times. They were the main attraction.
