Dear God that's amazing. Thinking really hard about getting it. I've played all but 3 of those games countless times over and loved them all.

Another good series.
Nothing like being in a dungeon, getting lost in darkness that also had a spin trap.
No spin ring FTW!

I remember using graph paper to map dungeons, gamers today would cry and bitch and quit the game.

Just had a marathon pencil and paper D&D game last week. Cant beat old school gaming. The old school dice rolling was the beginning of the modern day RPG.
2nd edition 4 ever.
2nd edition 4 ever.

Ah the rogue shows himself. I agree I miss the old pencil and paper games, but it's hard to find people that play.

damn this is an insane deal
also this nostalgia of tough games reminds me of my first MMO, Dark Age of Camelot.
Dungeons weren't marked on the map. There were no summoning stones or portals. nary a mention of them by NPCs. you had to find them and use landmarks, and write that shite down and also use the /loc command for lat and long
"Ok, go down the road from (city). At the fork in the road, take a left. Continue about 45 seconds at normal run speed and then take a 90 degree turn. Run into the forest, find the tree with the markings on it. Veer southeast from there , you will come across a set of rocks. you are getting closer... watch for agro... the dungeon entrance is ontop the hill surrounded by the Spectres"
the good ole days. when rpgs felt like adventure, not a spoon fed children's story. And god forbid if you die...

You and me both, but it seems that the older games people are not interested in redoing and those are the ones I want the most.

Loved those.
Loved when you had a full screen of enemies and hit those bastards with fireball. Boom!
