As stated by many, our defense just needs to be OK. 2010 the Saints had a top 5 defense, I'm not lying about it either. I'm serious. Brees played hurt, and for whatever reason the offense just didn't click. In 2011 the offense was better than ever, and the defense was mediocre; that also led to a 13-3 record. 2009 the Saints were OK defensively yards wise, but they made key stops and forced turnovers along with being ridiculously opportunistic.

I have no doubt in my mind that Payton will bring a lot of fire back to this team, and will be looking to arse rape the league. The offense will be much improved and disciplined. The play calling was so lackluster last season, it put the defense in a bind. Do you think we'd lose to KC with a lead like that with Payton coaching? Not a chance. The offense will be unpredictable again with Payton callin' the plays.

I was also hesitant of the Ryan hire, but the more I see and read of the guy the more I like the signing. He's a players coach, he's like that big tittied Gregg Williams; but more hair. They will want to play for him, and he'll put them in spots tooth strengths. The 3-4 fits the personnel much more than a 4-3.

I don't think we will see anything like the 49ers defense, but we will see a major improvement. Can't get any worse, right? The offense and defense have something to prove. IF the defense reaches anywhere from 15-20 in ranking, this team is winning 11 games minimum, but more likely around 13 wins. Just have a feeling this will be a special season.
