Can't talk you out either 
I just bought a 2012 F-250 crew cab, long bed, FX4 Lariat with the diesel and camper prep package. My 2008 Chevy 2500HD diesel was giving me some trouble not much engine wise but it was just starting to fall apart on the interior.
Just don't look at the sticker too hard or you might faint...
