Should I pick up Gerardo Parra?

My team kind of fricking sucks so far. I have Josh Hamilton, Yoenis Cespedes, Shin-Soo Choo, Carlos Gomez, Alfonso Soriano, and Andre Ethier as my outfielders

Also, Jesus Montero is on waivers. My catcher is Wilin Rosario.

Am I fricking up?

This is my roster:

You type really hurtful things. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to fantasy baseball so I may actually be really fricked

You're good. You have to be more patient in fantasy baseball vs fantasy football. For every bad week there is a good week to follow.

I expected you to have more friends.

If there is a DL spot, stash Corey Hart.

Drop Ogando for Gallardo. Add Latos and Medlen. There are a frickton of closers as well.

Trade for an outfielder for a good second baseman.

I was asked to play in this league last minute. Most of my friends refuse to play fantasy baseball.

I have Hanley Ramirez in my dl spot.

A few of my friends who have never played before wanted to do a last minute 8 team league too.

Maybe next year we could combine leagues so that fantasy board posters would think we have friends

I'd drop Ogando, Axford, Hellickson, Machado, Holland for Gallardo, Medlen, Latos, Perkins/Cishek/Wilhelmsen

I thought Neil Walker was a decent 2nd base option? He hit .280 with 14 homers last year.

Daniel Murphy is a FA, Omar Infante, Jedd Gyorko, Dustin Ackley, Gordon Beckham, Daniel Descalso

He's decent. And best of what you llisted. But with the 3B and OF on the FA wire, it'd be smart to trade for an elite one.

Id drop Machado for one of those closer too

Ok yeah. I'm just not sure the value of these players since I've never been in a league before. Which outfielder should I be trying to unload?

There is no obvious move to make here.

like rondo said, Latos, Gallardo, and Medlen was guys that should prob be on rosters, even in an 8 team league. But they arent that much better than the pitchers you have.

if you're looking to pick up a hitter, your weakest link is Soriano.

out of the FA hitters, id rank them

1 sal perez
2 viciedo
3 hart
4 freesse
5 cuddyer

Tho id bet there are better hitter options. I cant see though

I picked up Yo Gallardo and have waiver claims on Latos and Medlen (someone dropped them).

Do you think Montero or Sal Perez is a better option to have to use as a catcher/utility/bench guy?

I like Perez a lot, Montero has good upside too.

Rosario is solid as well, hitting in coors is nice

it doesnt look like you have many bench spots though?

I like Rosario because of Coors field but he won't catch every day so I'd like to use one of my 2 bench spots on a catcher.

This may be stupid but I plan on only starting Howard when he's facing a right-handed pitcher because I can use Allen Craig as a 1b, OF, or utility.

I still have Hanley Ramirez on the DL too.
