they're not in a terrible position. I'd offer him a pay increase and add a couple more years to his contract if 15m is all that's offered. Baines has to know he's not getting a big, long-term contract from a top club when he's 31 after his current contract has expired.

well yeah if he's willing to sign an extension then everything changes.
