This always cracks me up. So...you really didnt think smashing your head into others while they smash their head into you isn't going to cause you serious harm now and down the line?

He's 27? Did I read that correctly or just make it up? Most of the adverse effects from the brain trauma associated with football (at least to my understanding) shows up later in life, i.e., post retirement. So when dude didn't think another contract was coming he figured he'd go ahead and try to get paid for what he could be pretty certain was on the horizon. I'm not saying it's right (it's pretty shady, IMO), but I can understand his position. Now that he's got some cash flow he's not as concerned.

Let's be real -- what do you think his "real world" credentials are? What did he major in while in college? How employable is he? I ask because I don't know.
