One of the most consistent players on the DL the past 4 years. He will be missed.

He is the Ron Brooks of the DL. I hope he is successful at the next level. He deserves it.

Completely agree with this. Someone is going to get a steal in the draft.

Couple of really athletic sacks and forced turnovers in that reel. What is his projected draft position?

Exactly what I was thinking. Too bad he was behind Mingo and Montgomery. I think he would've been extremely productive as a starter. He could be a decent steal for a team

agreed. I think he can fit in either 4-3 or 3-4. At 6-4 280 he should be fine at DE

I would almost have preferred him over Montgomery. You always knew you were gonna get 100% out of lavar, but with Montgomery you just never knew. He contributed just as much as Montgomery and mingo when he was in.

ETA: don't forget his 2 TDs!

I think I've seen him as high as 4th or 5th round. Prob mid to late rounds.

That pick six against Idaho

Mingo may have a higher upside, but Lavar is more NFL ready today.

Wow. The talent along our D-line the past few years has been sick.

He and Quinn Johnson (a few years back) played basketball at the REC all the time during the off-season. Both were nice guys.
