Your N I've been several times myself and I like the joint. Wine is 10% above Calandros but a decent selection so that is not a big deal and hopefully will evolve into an even better selection
Not a wine conny sewer, but wife seems satisfied with the selection and prices. Beer has improved slightly since the first time I've been there.

Produce still... But I am picky on that. Sausage, best around. Meat...meh.
Good to know about the sausage. Any recommendations?

Let's say it's a really nice addition to the area with room to improve. And I really hope it succeeds and I'm sure it will.
Agreed.

Went Saturday and went up and down all of the the exceptionally narrow aisles, and walked out without buying anything. I didn't see anything that I couldn't get from my usual Mathernes/Calandros/Fresh Market rotation, and at lower prices. Staff were extremely nice and helpful, store was clean and well lit and laid out (other than the skinny arse spacing), but I would've rather shop at the Rouses in Lafayette as my something different than Alexander's. And I have driven to Murray's Superette several times for my Jamabalya ingredients in contests. Did see the Blue Icon, left it for my hopheads.
