Now people are calling for the AD to be disciplined for waiting until the video became public to fire him.

Some are even calling for the assistants to be disciplined.

Those people are stupid and just out for blood. The AD had already disciplined him before ESPN decided to run with a 2 month old college basketball story at a time when the most eyeballs would be on college basketball.

the AD needs to be fired. He covered up student-athletes being physically abused by an employee of the University. IMO, he has to go.

Why stop there? Cut the players from their scholarships. They sat there silent while this abuse was taking place.

Come on people, it's not like he got in a fight a Super Bowl after party and people got stabbed and killed. We know that ESPN would never stand for that type of behavior.

Nothing should happen to the assistants. They all could have privately met with someone above them to discuss the matter. They all could have not said anything because they feared for their job. Who knows, I don't.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the AD. I'm leaning towards nothing happening because I'm not for him being fired, and I believe a fine or a short term suspension wouldn't really matter in the long run.

ETA: If he would have never disciplined the coach, I would say he needs to be fined or suspended at the very least.
